With a wish to cater to the discerning customers and visiting tourists, most importantly, fellow Goans, Samson Kari has commenced “The Avenue --- a multi-cuisine A-grade restaurant” and luxury serviced apartments at Orlim-Salcete.
Speaking to mediapersons after the launch, Kari claimed to have ambitious future plans in the hospitality industry in Goa. “I am not expecting anything from anyone, but only want to give my service and goodwill to the people,” he added.
Tracing his origins, Kari said he worked for 42 years in catering business in different positions. “I have successfully managed to be a vice-president of one of the world's biggest service and catering company,” he informed.
Thereafter, Kari started his own company in the year 2005, even as he continued in service. “Within a few years, I was able to expand business operations in many countries like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. Even though I had business in many countries, my dream was to start a business in Goa, my home,” he claimed.
