Meritorious students to be feted by Chitpavan Brahman Sangh, applications invited by Mar 31

Chitpavan Brahman Sangh-Gomantak will be felicitating the meritorious students (2019-20) from Chitpavan (Kokanastha) Brahman community and other students who have achieved success in other fields like art, theatre in the State or National level events. They will be awarded 'Kala Sanmaan' puraskar. The award ceremony could not be organised on time due to the pandemic. If things normalise in April, the ceremony will be held on Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada (Gudhi Padwa) Day on April 13 at 3 pm, on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Chitpavan Brahman Sangh at Sarvan Sankhali's Shree Devi Yogeshwari temple complex.

The exams held in the academic year that ended in March 2020, the students from the community who got 80 per cent in SSC, 75 per cent in XII and those who scored 60 per cent and above in the degree and post-graduation exams, will be eligible for the awards. Those who are eligible should send their applications along with their photo and a copy of their mark sheet, to Chitpavan Brahman Sangh-Gomantak, C/o Yogeshwari Mandir, Parvatinar, Kulan, Sarvan Sankhali.
