V M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) will be hosting a webinar – ‘Masterclass on Goan Cuisine’ on April 9 at 3 pm, featuring two of Goa’s chefs, Chef Edia Cotta and Chef Sandip Madkaikar. Chef Edia Cotta has experience in the art of traditional home-style Goan cuisine. With over 35 years of experience in the food industry and having worked at some of the most reputed hotel chains all over Goa, she now owns Cota Cozinha situated at Betalbatim. By illustrating the Portuguese influence on the Goan Cuisine, she will also feature her own personal touch to traditional Goan cuisine. Chef Sandip Madkaikar, assistant professor (food production) at VMSIIHE will bring out his modernist approach towards cooking while teaching and exhibiting the real essence of authentic and traditional Goan cuisine. This masterclass is open to students, home bakers and anyone passionate and willing to learn all about Goan Cuisine and its secrets.
