MARGAO
Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai on Saturday joined local farmers near Goemkar Ghor for a paddy transplantation initiative, reaffirming his unwavering commitment to Goa's farming community and our rich agricultural heritage. Saying that nearly 20,000 hectares of farmland in Goa lie neglected, Sardesdai warned that the vision of a truly “Green Goa will slowly fade if this trend continues. “The future of agriculture lies in blending tradition with innovation. Al-driven robotic agriculture can support planting, transplanting, weeding, and harvesting, reducing the physical burden on our farmers, improving productivity, and encouraging more young Goans to embrace farming”, he said. Sardesai said the Goa Forward Party is committed to protecting our farmlands while bringing Al-driven agricultural technologies to Goa, ensuring that our farmers are empowered, our fields remain productive, and our agricultural legacy thrives for generations to come.
