A woman from Medinipur, West Bengal, residing at Cuncolim has complained to the police that some unknown persons have kidnapped her minor daughter from lawful guardianship on Wednesday morning.
Upon receipt of the complaint from the girl’s mother, the Cuncolim police Station has registered a case under Section 137(2) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and under Section 8(2) of the Goa Children’s Act.
Further investigation is being conducted by Police Sub-Inspector Sudan Bhosale of the Cuncolim Police station.
