A satellite operated digital clock was installed at the college and higher secondary school campus of Murgaon Education Society, Zuarinagar, as part of its 50th anniversary.
The clock, which works on the Global Positioning System (GPS), and is cent percent precise.
MES Vice Chairman Paresh Joshi appreciated Adv. Madhav Bandodker for donating the Satellite Digital Watch and said the clock has been fixed at the right time when the society is celebrating 50 years of its existence.The chief guest, Dr Harishchandra Nagvekar, retired principal of MES college, praised the founder of the MES, late Vasant Joshi, fondly known as "Anna", and wished the very best for the future growth of the institution.Guest of Honour, Adv Madhav Bandodker, felt the need to give back to the society and spoke about his journey in life which he has carved from scratch. Others who spoke at the function included Officiating Principal of MES College Meenakshi Bawa, Principal of MES HSS Vishwanath Swar and MES HSS Manager Nelly Rodrigues.
