PANAJI: The South Western Railway (SWR) will launch Digital Life Certificate Campaign 5.0 from November 1 to 30, 2026, to simplify the process of submitting life certificates for pensioners and family pensioners. The initiative aims to provide a secure and convenient alternative to the traditional practice of visiting banks in person every November to submit life certificates for the continuation of pension payments. The digital facility is expected to particularly benefit senior pensioners by enabling them to complete the process from home, saving time and effort while avoiding physical visits.
To avail of the facility, pensioners must first download the latest version of the ‘AadhaarFace RD (Early Access Application)’ developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) from the Google Play Store. They must then download the latest version of the ‘Jeevan Pramaan’ application. Using these applications, pensioners can submit their life certificates digitally without visiting a bank or other office in person. The campaign is part of SWR’s efforts to streamline life certificate submissions and improve convenience for its pensioner community. For further information, pensioners can contact the South Western Railway helpline at 08362325172.
