An awareness on traffic safety was presented to KTC drivers and staff at the Vasco KTC bus stand on Thursday, as part of the road safety month is being observed from January 17 to February 17.
The traffic awareness campaign was led by Vasco Traffic PI Sudesh Narvekar, Vasco MLA and KTC Chairman Carlos Almeida, KTC Director Deepak Naik and others were also present at the event.
Later speaking to reporters, PI Narvekar said the awareness was to minimise accidents and save lives.
"We provided a lot of safety-related information through presentations to drivers and other staff of KTCL and also to the general public who attended the event.”
KTC Chairman and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida said the event would ensure that people stay safe, drive safe and keep others safe.
