A total of 53 new cases of Covid-19 were detected from among the 1,162 samples tested in the last 24 hours by the Health Department.
The total confirmed cases have touched 52,924 of which 824 are presently active. A total of51,335 patients have recovered from the infection so far.
With no Covid related deaths being recorded in the state on Sunday, the Covid victim count remained steady at 761.
The recovery rate in Goa is 97 per cent and 4.3 lakh persons have been tested in the state so far at the rate of 3,01,407 tests per million.
