In a move to take healthcare to the doorstep, the Canacona Community Health Centre (CHC) has announced specific dental and general OPDs in Canacona. For the first time, a dental OPD is being started in Canacona and it will be held at RMD Agonda every second Friday of the month and at the RMD Mashem on every fourth Wednesday of the month.The Sub Health Centre at Matvemol-Khola will have daily OPDs (general check up), while the RMD Molorem-Khola will have general OPDs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The RMD Agonda will have General OPDs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, while the RMD Maxem will have General OPDs on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Sources at the Canacona CHC said new initiatives are afoot especially in remote areas of Canacona and have requested people to cooperate with the medical teams to ensure the best of services from them.
