PANAJI: Dr Ajay Ramchandra Gaude, Senior Scale Officer at GCS Government of Goa, received his Doctorate during the 95th Convocation at BITS Pilani Goa Campus today. The degree was conferred by Vice Chancellor Prof Ramgopal Rao, with Prof Dr Govindan Rangrajan, Director of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, as the Chief Guest.
Dr Gaude completed his Ph.D. in Education from BITS Pilani, Goa Campus under the guidance of Prof Dr Reena Cherulavath. He previously earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemistry from PES College, Ponda, and Goa University respectively. He also completed a Bachelor’s in Education from GVMS B.Ed College, Ponda, and a Master’s in Education from the Regional Institute of Education, NCERT, Bhopal, qualifying NET/JRF in 2011 and 2012.
Dr Gaude was awarded the President of India Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal for being the top student among seven states in the Western Region during his Master’s in Education.
