PANAJIAs per the guidelines of DFS to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Iconic Week is being celebrated by Union Bank of India from June 6 to 12. Several branches organised a credit outreach programme on Wednesday in which various types of loans such as Mudra loans, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Self Help Groups, agricultural loans etc were sanctioned by Union Bank of India. A total of 53 loans to the tune of Rs 19.32 crores was approved at the programme. A financial literacy programme was also organised by all the branches under financial inclusion in which various customers of the branches participated. Ashok Upadhyay, Regional Head Goa addressed the customers present in the meeting. He said that Union Bank of India is committed to providing quality service to the customers and offers a wide range of products and services to suit the needs of its customers. He said that Union Bank of India is committed to strive for the economic progress of its clientele and is always at the forefront in implementation of Government Sponsored Scheme.
