UP youth held for drug peddling in Pilar

The Agassaim police on Thursday arrested a youth from Uttar Pradesh for allegedly peddling drugs in Pilar. According to the police, the 26-year-old identified as Hetaram Saran was caught red-handed in possession of 194 gms of Opium worth Rs 1.10 lakh during a raid near a supermarket. He has been arrested under section 17(b) of the NDPS Act and remanded to police custody. More details are awaited.
