Waves Short Film Festival “ Goa 2023 (WSFF) a premier event celebrating the best in independent and world mini cinema was held from May 12-14 at the Entertainment society of Goa (ESG) in Panaji. The festival was inaugurated by CEO of ESG Jyoti Kumari, IAS in presence of Jury Members, Sharmad Pai Raiturkar, Sachin Chate, and Mukesh Ghatwal followed by the screening of the opening film ‘Marvat’ Directed by Rajaram Turi a film which was a part of the 60 Hours Film making Challenge. The 3-day film festival screened a total of 80 film festival filtered from 116 films from across the country. Ek Sur (One Musical Note) directed by Glen Cardozo won Best Short Film for the 60 Hours Film Making Challenge.
