The Department of BCA initiated a week-long Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Effective Management of Digital Tools. The resource person, Dr. Sheenu Jain, Associate Professor IIHMR Jaipur University shed light on various digital tools helping the faculty to truly smoothen out the teaching process and polishing their innovative skills. The following topics were covered: Use of Digital tools for classroom engagement “ Mentimeter, Padlet, Crossword Maker, Jam Board.
Google Trends, Google Data Studio, Google scholar and Google Analytics. Dr Jain helped more than 60 participants who were the faculty of various departments of MES College hone their skills in making attractive and value creating presentations.
The FDP also had some fun activities and assignment like creating a shoe-tower and 30 sec InShot video, where in every participant felt included and capable of handling various applications within a very short period of time. Spearheading the FDP under the lead of Dr Manasvi Kamat, Principal and Professor, MES College were the co-ordinator of Dept of BCA Gauri Dessai and faculty members Rajesh Tanksali, Satish Gangavati and Johann Rodrigues.
