As the number of people suffering from vertigo is on the rise, KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital has been observing the Balance Awareness Week.To be monitored by the ENT & HNS department of the hospital, the inaugural function of the Balance Awareness Week was held on Monday.Registrar of the KLE University (KAHER) Dr V A Kothivale said apart from people of the Belagavi region, patients from Goa can take advantage of the Balance Awareness Week from September 21 to 26.Dr R B Nerli, director of clinical services KLE Hospital, Dr Anil S Harugop, HOD ENT and HNS department, Dr Vinita Metgudmath, Dr Shama Bellad and others also highlighted the vertigo related issues and arrangements made for attending to the patients for diagnosis and treatment.
