CSB Bank Ltd has opened its new branch in Mapusa, located at Titanium, Carrasco Vaddo. CSB Bank Ltd is a private sector bank with a lineage of 100 years. The new branch will facilitate all offerings such as Agri, SME, Corporate, and NRI Banking. The bank will offer their full range of deposit services and gold loans immediately. Earlier this year, CSB Bank had announced its plan to open over 100 branches across the country in FY 20-21. The bank's core business of gold loans has seen 47 per cent year-on-year growth, with one-third of the loan book in gold loans.
Commenting on the development, MD & CEO, CVR Rajendran said, "Our aim is to enhance presence outside Kerala locations, especially in southern and western India. With the opening of new branches, we will be able to develop new business opportunities in the market including MSME and Agricultural lending apart from building our CASA and Gold Loan Business.” At present, the bank has 432 branches and 310 ATMs spread across 18 States and two union territories.
