Diwali vacation: Govt grants leave for anganwadi workers

The government has granted leaves to anganwadi workers across the State for the upcoming festive season of Diwali. The Health minister interacting with the workers has asked them to work from home and upload data while at home using gadgets provided to them.

“During my interaction with the anganwadi workers yesterday, I have informed them about their leave policy for Diwali. While they can avail their leaves, I have asked them to upload the data while at home from the gadgets provided to them,” the Health minister tweeted.

Academic functions at GMC: The Health minister reiterated that his department intends to resume the academic functions at the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim.

He said that the same will be done with proper SOPs in place and after undertaking from parents.
