Dr R G Wiseman Pinto, Professor of Pathology, former Dean of Goa University and President of the Asian Society of Cytopathology, is leading an international research study titled ‘Clinical Scenarios Where Cytopathology is Superior to Histopathology’. The study explores various clinical situations where cytopathology outperforms histopathology.
International participants include renowned doctors such as Dr Jerzy Klijanienko (France), Dr Henryk Domanski (Sweden), Dr Megha Joshi (USA), Dr Komala Pillai (South Africa), Dr Tomoo Itoh (Japan), Dr Bernard Majak (Norway), Dr Nadezdha Melnikova (Russia), Dr Bo Ping (China), Dr Do Ming Trong (Vietnam), and Dr M. Zillur (Bangladesh). Leading Indian experts include Dr Tanuja Shet, Dr B Rekhi, Dr Nalini Gupta, Dr Sandeep Mathur, Dr Indranil Chakraborty, and Dr K. Yookarin, among others.
