The Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is implementing various skill development schemes through 10 Government and three private ITIs which are imparting training in 20 engineering and 17 non-engineering trades.
As per the recent guidelines received from Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the academic year 2020-21 will start from October 26, 2020, for the newly admitted trainees. All the freshly admitted trainees are requested to note and attend training in respective ITIs from October 26.
The training of existing batches was restarted from September 21, 2020, by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by authorities. Approximately 54% of trainees are attending the training in government and private ITIs.
