The Margao police on late Wednesday caught red-handed one Kamaran Ahmed Ansari (32), a resident of Dhargal-Pernem and a native of Thana-Maharashtra for being in possession of 650 grams of “greenish colour fruiting and flowering tops of plants - suspected to be “ganja”.
The ganja is believed to be worth around Rs 65,000.
He has since been arrested under section 20 (b) (ii) (A) of the NDPS Act 1985.
