“Parents should keep a careful eye on their children, as their guidance is important in directing the right path. Realising that it is the parents who are responsible for whatever behaviour their children display, they should accept this responsibility and try to reinstall the moral values that are now deteriorating,” appealed Dr Suraj Kanekar who was speaking at the annual PTA meeting of the Deepvihar Higher Secondary School, on the subject of 'Parenting'.
The PTA president Peter Andrade, Prof Mrunal Korgaonkar, manager Sanjay Banavalikar, vice-president Babita Shirodkar, secretary Neha Naik, assistant secretary Neeti Valvaikar, treasurer Kiran Sail, members Govind Parnalkar, Esperanza D'Souza, Neelam Bandekar, Dattatrey Bandodkar, Sudesh Ambekar, Shivadas Naik, Nanda Honnavarkar and Shashikant Dholaye were present on the occasion.
Peter Andrade welcomed the audience, Neha Naik presented the annual report, Kiran Sail presented the accounts. Teacher Sunil Shet was felicitated by Sanjay Banavalikar for establishing Hindi Akademi and for being selected its president. The toppers in XII exam were felicitated too. The principal Korgaonkar thanked the parents for cooperating during Covid pandemic. Niti Valvaikar compered the event and Maria Dias gave a vote of thanks.
