MARGAO: Sporting Club of Davorlim pipped Parish Youth Nuvem 1-0 in an exciting match at all Goa inter village football tournament, organised by United Club of Utorda, in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa, at Utorda.
In the 10th minute, Nuvem's Francis had a cracking shot but missed the cross bar by inches. The first half was mostly restricted to midfield. The score was 0-0 at the lemon break.
Davorlim scored the important goal through Royton Colaco's shot with the Nuvem goalkeeper having no chance to save. Nuvem mounted tremendous pressure to find the equaliser but all their efforts went in vain.
