To help the families of active Covid positive patients under home isolation the Shiv Sena Goa wing has formed 'Covidsena' to provide a home delivery service of non-emergency items.
Shiv Sena Goa unit chief Jitesh Kamat said that actually the government has to provide home delivery services to Covid positive patients’ families but the Covid positive family members have to go out even to collect Covid isolation kits. This poses a risk to society of the spread of the virus.
In these circumstances, the Shiv Sena has decided to provide home delivery service to positive patients and their families who are in isolation, Kamat added.
Kamat, however, clarified that only non-emergency services will be provided to the Covid positive patients and families and the service will be available in the constituencies where there is a presence of Shiv Sena.
Kamat also made it clear that the cost of all commodities has to be paid by the families of Covid positive persons; only free delivery service will be provided by the Shiv Sena volunteers.
