3rd Goa Off-Road Challenge season to be flagged off today

MARGAO: The third season of Goa Off-Road Challenge event is all set to be flagged off on November 19 at 9 am in Navelim.

The event will see a participation over 50 off-road enthusiasts from Goa and the neighboring states. The participating vehicles will be 4x4 and be categorized as stock, modified & pro-modified.

Apart from this, for the first time in Goa, there will be a special category for Maruti Jimmy & Mahindra Thar 2020. This category is aimed at people who have recently purchased these vehicles and would like to experience the off-road ability of their vehicles.

Margao MLA Digambar Kamat will flag off the event.

Third Division I-league: Dempo SC pip Millat FC

MARGAO: Dempo Sports Cub defeated Millat FC 1-0 in the Third Division I league, at Dempo Academy ground, Ella, on Friday.Both teams came into the match in dire need of points. The all important goal was scored by Saigomang Doungel. With a goal up, Dempo refused to take their foot off the gas as they continued to mount pressure on rival defence. The visitors too had chances but the rival defenders stood tall in keep their citadel intact till the final whistle.
