MARGAO: Banda-1 registered a solitary goal win against Bairo Premeiro/Bainaque in the Regina Martyrum Parish Cup inter ward 5-a-side football tournament, organised by Regina Martyrum Parish, at Assolna Church ground.
Man of the match Clifton Almeida scored the winner in the fifth minute.
In another match, Pedda and Mulleavaddo-Bainfoll played out a 2-2 draw. Cahill Diniz and Crossley Luis scored in the 6th and 25th minutes respectively for Mulleavaddo-Bainfoll. Samson Fernandes and Lester were on target for Pedda in the 10th and 21st minutes respectively. The man of the match was awarded to Crossley Luis. Mulleavaddo-Bainfoll moved to the semi-finals with a superior goal difference.
