The Basilica of Bom Jesus at Old Goa will be closed for tourists, visitors and others on March 12 from 6 am till 6 pm. The closure of the Basilica during the above-mentioned period has been necessitated as people and devotees will be participating in the final day religious services of the Novena of Grace and will also commemorate the 400 years of the sainthood of St Francis Xavier, states a press note issued by Fr Patricio Fernandes SJ, Rector of Basilica of Bom Jesus.
