PANAJIThe members of Goa Branch of WIRC of ICAI celebrated the CA Day on Friday by organising various health camps. A blood check up camp, dental check-up camp, breast cancer awareness camp and an eye check-up was held. “All year round we chartered accountants take care of the financial health of our clients, sometimes taking tremendous stress, especially in days nearing the deadline. We felt that at least on CA Day, we must look inwards and focus on our own health. We hope that these awareness camps will spur our members to be fit. We will do even more events in this direction,” said Gaurav Kenkre, chairman of Goa Branch of WIRC of ICAI. On this occasion senior chartered accountants who crossed 70 were felicitated and newly qualified ones were welcomed to the profession. There was a donation drive conducted to collect articles which were donated to Matruchhaya Trust, an orphanage for children. All attendees were gifted saplings to spread the message of save soil, save the planet.
