MARGAO: Chandor Club edged past host Ambelim SC 2-1 and moved into the quarter-finals of the Lourdes soccer at Ambelim Sports Complex, on Thursday.
Joaquim Carvalho and Gale D'Costa netted a goal each for Chandor while Samson Fernandes was on target for Ambelim SC.
Gale D'Costa of Chandor was awarded the Man of the Match by Benjamin Silva, president of Ambelim SC.
