Chief Minister Pramod Sawant's office added bureaucratic muscle with yet another senior scale officer appointed as Officer on Special Duty. An order issued by Paresh Faldesai, Joint Secretary (Personnel) said Esant V Sawant is posted as OSD to Chief Minister with immediate effect. Meanwhile, noted scientist Dr Sharad Kale, who was associated for many years with the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has been appointed as a 'special advisor' to the Chief Minister. Dr Kale's appointment is on an honorary basis.
