PANAJI: There will be a CME Continuing Medical Education Programme on Cartilage Tumours on 9th May 2024 at 3 pm in the pathology department seminar hall. The CME will be chaired by Dr Zelio De Melo, Associate Professor, Department of Orthopaedics, GMC, and Dr R.G. Wiseman Pinto, Professor and Head, Department of Pathology, GMC, and President, Asian Society of Cytopathology.
The speakers will be Dr Bansi Khaunte, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, SGDH South Goa District Hospital, Margao, Visiting Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Paediatric Neuro Rehabilitation Centre (PNRC), GMC, and DEIC, NGDH North Goa District Hospital, Mapusa, Children and Adolescent Bone Specialist, Goa, and Dr Sanjana Lotlikar, Tutor/Demonstrator in Pathology Department, GMC.
The topics to be covered are Chondroma: incidence, age, epidemiology, clinical aspects, imaging, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis. The CME is open to doctors and medical students and is as per Goa University, NMC National Medical Commission, National Board, and NEP National Education Policy Guidelines.
