MARGAO: Margao SC registered a solitary goal win over St Anthony Marna SC and moved to the final of the Nerul Panchayat Cup, organised by Nerul Sports Club, at Nerul Sports Club ground, on Monday.
The first half started aggressively with both sides missing opportunities to take the lead. In the 16th minute, Michael put Margao in front with an easy finish.
Early in the second half, St Anthony SC missed a chance to equalise. St Anthony SC dominated the second half but couldn’t equalise as Margao SC made it through to finals of Panchayat Cup.
Margao SC will now face PVC Association in the grand finale.
