The Department Computer Applications of Don Bosco College organised the 10th Edition of their IT Festival ‘Colossus 10.0’ on January 5 and 6. Eight BCA/Computer Science colleges from all over Goa participated in the two-day event.
The inaugural function was attended by the Chief Guest Pranav Chimulkar, Don Bosco College Director Rev Fr Joaquim Lobo, Principal Dr Cedric Silveira, Department Coordinator Rohan Kerkar and the Faculty Incharge of the event Shantanu Arlekar.
Colossus had about 14 events over 2 days which included Technical Debates, Mock Interviews, Debugging, Paper Presentations, Quiz, PC building and many more events which tested every aspect of their IT skills. Over a hundred students and volunteers were a part of the event.
Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre were declared the overall winners. Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce were declared as the runners up.
