BICHOLIM
The district administration has set up a call centre at Shree Shantadurga Higher Secondary School, Bicholim, for Covid patients under home isolation in Bicholim taluka.
Around 30 staff posted at the call centre in shifts will collect details of Covid patients under home isolation regarding their health parameters and feed details of patients with high fever, cough, breathing issues in the DHS portal software. If patients face any medical issues, they will then be shifted to a Covid hospital.
Incident Commander for Bicholim Taluka Shri Sanjiv Gadkar inspected the call centre along with Bicholim Mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit.
Meanwhile, Gadkar convened a meeting with the sarpanchas and deputy sarpanchas of all panchayats in Bicholim taluka regarding implementation of preventive measures against Covid.
Speaker and Bicholim MLA Rajesh Patnekar, Deputy Collector Deepak Vaigankar, Bicholim Mamlatdar Pravinjay Pandit and Bicholim BDO Shrikant Pednekar were also present at the meeting.
