Covid positivity rate high with 85 new cases but no deaths recorded

The daily Covid positivity rate in Goa continued to remain high with 85 new cases or 5.8 per cent of the 1,441 samples testing positive for Covid-19 on Monday.

The total confirmed cases in the state have now risen to 56,708 of whom 54,873 have recovered while 1,017 are presently active.

No Covid related deaths were recorded in the state on Monday and the total Covid victim count remains steady at 818.
