VASCOA French delegation recently visited the BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. The delegation comprised Dr Oliver Fudym (Attaché for Academic and Scientific Cooperation French embassy in India), Dr Srinivas Kaveri (Director of CNRS Bureau, French Embassy, New Delhi) and Siddhi Padture (Manager- Campus France, Pune). The visit was aimed to share the information on funding opportunities available in various research areas for BITS faculties/ research students in France and Student Exchange & Scholarship opportunities for BITS undergraduate students. The French delegation made a presentation on the overall operations of CNRS (Centre National De la Recherche Scientifique) in India and their role in supporting and building collaborations with Higher Education universities including BITS Pilani. The French delegation interacted with Associate Deans, HoDs and faculty members of BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. The event was coordinated by Prof Rajesh Mehrotra, Associate Dean, International Programmes & Collaboration Division (IPCD) and Professor, Dept of Biological Sciences, Goa Campus.
