Goa Konkani Academy will be holding the 27th edition of Konkani Drama Festival and has invited applications from interested organisations who wish to participate in the festival. The festival will present five plays that have won national recognition, and there will be a seminar on the sixth day discussing these plays wherein various actors, directors, writers, producers participate. The festival is organised in association with the local organisation active in theatre, art or any other form of art and aims at staging good plays in the rural areas. Till date the Academy has organised 26 such festivals across Goa. Those organisations that wish to hold this festival in their area, should send their applications to the Academy till January 15, 2022.
