PANAJI: The Marathi Vrutapatra Lekhak Sangh, Mumbai’s prestigious Pascol Lobo sponsored Ganesh Kelkar Smruti ‘Best Literary Magazine’ award was bagged by Goan Varta Diwali magazine 2022. The award will be handed over on February 26 at a ceremony at the Dadar Public Library in Mumbai.
The award was announced on Saturday by Marathi Vrutapatra Lekhak Sangh that has been active in various programmes since 1949. The sanghadhyaksha of the organisation, Ravindra Malusare, announced the results of the 47th State-level Diwali Magazine 2022 Competition.
Goan Varta bagged the award due to its variety of issues and untouched topics. The magazine had contributions from writers and poets in Maharashtra as well as others, and the readers feedback was very positive.
