The Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (ICAR-KVK) distributed planting materials and vegetable seeds to farmers from the Scheduled Caste community at Mardol.
During the programme, Shashi Vishwakarma, Technical Officer (Soil Science) and Project In-Charge explained about the SCSP project “distribution of planting materials and vegetables seed to SC farmers of Goa”.
Senior Scientist and Head Dr B L Kashinath explained about the importance of IFS for better livelihood and informed about KVK activities.
Vegetable seeds like tomato, chilli, radish, red amaranthus, palak, methi, ridge guard, bottle guard, planting materials and bio-repellent for wild boar were distributed to the 20 farmers present at the programme.
