The Psychology Dept. of MES College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar organized a lecture on ‘Careers in Psychology’ recently in the college. The resource person, Dr Amita Talauliker delivered an interesting and informative lecture. She provided information on various undergraduate and Post graduate colleges offering Psychology, educational loans, how to develop goals, how to make career decisions, and stay motivated. 62 students participated in the lecture. The objective of the lecture was to introduce the students to the various careers and job opportunities in Psychology. Dr Manasvi M. Kamat, Principal welcomed the gathering. Maria Fatima D’Costa, the Coordinator of the programme, introduced the objective of the programme and also welcomed the resource person. Aditi Sarkar, BA Semester II introduced the resource person, and Dr Freda Cota e Pereira delivered the vote of thanks. Cedila Pereira e Gomes, faculty of the Dept of Psychology was also present on the occasion.
