The National Postal Week (October 9-15) would be celebrated in variousways across India, some of them will be unique. To celebrate National PostalWeek, the Department of Posts in Goa has organised a letter-writing competitionfor the State. The topic is ‘Postman: Our Covid Warrior’, and the last date tosend the entries is October 9.
Those who wish to participate can write in English, Hindi, Marathi andKonkani language limiting their word count to 500. The contest is for all thosewho are above 18 years of age. The contestants should send their entries alongwith a proof of date of birth. Those working in the Department of Post are notallowed to participate. The entries should be sent in A4 size paper. The firstthree winners will win prizes of Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000, respectively.The entries should be sent to the Head Post Superintendent, Goa region, Panaji(403001).
