The Maina Curtorim police has nabbed a rape accused who had fled to West Bengal to evade arrest. The Maina Curtorim Police Station had registered an offence under sections 366, 376, 506(ii) of IPC. The accused, however, had fled to West Bengal and had been constantly changing locations to evade arrest. After a team was formed by Maina Curtorim police station, the team proceeded to West Bengal, wherein they arrested accused Nabakumar Sardar son of Mena Sardar, aged 26 years, resident of Dakshin Belegachi, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of DySP Santosh Desai and SP, South Abhishek Dhania.
