CANACONA
An unidentified man in his early thirties was found hanging to a tree at Dumane along the road leading to Agonda on Monday evening.According to police sources, the body was hanging from a tree in a highly decomposed state and the man is believed to have died over three days ago.
The deceased was found with a jean’s pant and a T-shirt. A bag was found close to the body and it only had a toothbrush and toothpaste, but no identification.
The body has been sent to Margao for preservation and autopsy.
Police have taken up an investigation to identify the body and PSI Ramchandra Naik is investigating officer, informed Canacona PI Chandrakant Gawas.
