Election to the post of vice-chairperson of the Mapusa Municipal Council will take place on March 6 at 11 am. On February 21, then MMC vice-chairperson Viraj Phadke had resigned from the post, and the post was vacant since February 28.
Nominations will be accepted on on Tuesday, March 5 till 12 noon. The ruling group in the council has decided on Councillor Sushant Harmalkar as the next vice-chairperson.
