Swara Shivdas Pal, a student of Our Lady of Grace High School Bicholim, scored 581 marks at SSC, GBSHSE and stood first among the four Parish High Schools of Vasco, Chinchinim, Navelim and Bicholim. PC Trust felicitated Swara in honour of Rev. Fr Jose Antonio Da Costa for her standout performance in the examination with a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and a citation. The award is instituted by the parishioners for the memorable, cherished legacies left by Fr Costa.

Works worth Rs 22 L launched at Baina

VASCODevelopment works worth Rs 22 lakhs, which include works on pavers and drainage, were launched at Ward 7 in Baina. The works were launched by Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) Chairperson Leo Rodrigues in the presence of MMC Vice Chairperson and local councillor Ramchandra Kamat, Councillors Prajay Mayekar, Damodar Kaskar, Majusha Pilankar and other residents.
