Goan artist Pradip Naik has been awarded Best Konkani Actor award by the Ann Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. The award was given to the actor at Mapusa recently at the hands of Anandrao Narayanrao Nagvekar, Chairman of Ann Institute.
The Institute has been offering awards to eminent artists for their achievements for the past many years. Naik was selected for this award on the basis of his contribution to Konkani tiatr in 2022. Acting from the age of five, Naik works in the Art and Culture Department and presents programmes on television and radio.
