MARGAO: SCC Loutolim pipped Goa Velha SC 1-0 in the opening match of Fr Gervasio Pinto memorial all Goa inter-village tournament, organised by Guardian Angel SC, at Figueiredo ground, Curchorem, on Saturday.
Both the teams, displayed, attacking brand of soccer and as the match progressed, both had equal number of scoring chances but their forwards squandered their chances.
The second half, saw SCC Loutolim take the lead thanks to a brilliant goal by Alvito Fernandes. Alvito Fernandes was awarded the man of the match for his decisive contribution.
