Goa's well-known cultural ambassador Sonia Shirsat will launch the 3rd edition of the C G Varkey Heritage Silver Rolling Trophy Competition Parkonnem-Kitem Tem Sang on September 5. This is a competition on Konkani riddles, locally known as 'Parkonnim' organised by Chicalim Bio-Cruaders.This year, famous cultural artistes from the fields of tiatr, dramas, music are coming together to offer the 50 'Parkonnim' that will be posed to global Goans. Tiatr stars like Prince Jacob, Roseferns, Lawry Travasso, Antonetta de Maina, Jaju, Comedian Augustinho amongst others have lent their support to this unique Konkani heritage competition.
The organisers, Chicalim Bio-Crusaders, have been commended for organising this one-of-kind event promoting the heritage of Goa and Konkani language globally through social media. Cash prize awaits the winner, besides the silver trophy.
