Shree Mahadev Bhumikadevi anniversary will be celebrated on March 5 and 6 with various religious rituals and entertainment programmes. The programme will begin on day one at 8 am with prayaschitta vidhi of the host and an invocation to the deity, prayers, Ganapati pujan, swasti punyahvachan, matrukapujan, Nandishraddha, Acharyadi Rutvik varan, initiation of the main deity, Raghurudra and mahapuja, Laghurudra swahakar, balidan, purnahuti, devta prarthana, aarti, teerthprasad, mahanaivedya etc. On day two the rituals will begin at 8 am and in the evening a procession of the deity will be taken out. A play ‘Pratistha’ written by Chandrakant Sawant and directed by Gokuldas Toraskar will be staged at 11 pm.
