The annual jatrotsava of Shree Shantadurga Fatarpekarin began at Fatarpa with abhishek and other rituals observing covid norms. After naman and shibikotsava, the procession of the deity in a silver chariot was held in the presence of devotees. After aarti and prasad, a Konkani humorous play ‘Bhivpachi garaj na’ by Kalachetana Volvai’s Rajdeep Naik was presented by Srinika Creation Nageshi. Similarly on day two, mahabhishek, shibikotsava, procession in mayor rath, aarti, prasad was followed by a magic show. Day three will see a similar programme with the procession in surya rath and a Konkani play ‘A purn love story’. The jatrotsava will end on January 7 after a mega procession followed by aarti and prasad, stated president of Shree Shantadurga Bhumipurush Saptakoteshwar Saunsthan Dilkhush Desai, secretary Ajay Desai, treasurer Sujay Desai, mukhatyar Devappa Desai and other committee members.
